April Lockhart

April Lockhart born 4 July 1995. She began with guitar and piano in the 7th grade, which ignited her interest. In the seventh grade, April began taking piano and guitar lessons. This ignited her interest to write songs. When she was 14 April was a big devotee of her time creating and playing with songs. Soon, April began to take trips in NY and LA together with her father so that they could both to write songs. April also began incorporating various other topics relevant to the song, which she called the Take my Hand song for some friends, such as peer-pressure disabilities and teen suicide. Lockhart is a popular figure and works as a lifestyle blogger at the renowned Ilia the Clean Beauty brand. Since she was born without a left hand, Lockhart has a significant part to play in herself. But it's not her entire story. Lockhart does not deny that she has a disability on Instagram, but she doesn't make it the focus of it. The point? It is important to remember that we all have multiple faces. Our identities are diverse and we are much greater than the bodies we wear. It's not my intention to let that determine me. I do not want to be a disability influencer where it's the only thing I talk about because there are other things about me. Lockhart speaks via video from her residence in Nashville. My daily life isn't dependent on it. I lead a normal daily life, and come up with myself solutions for problems. It's also a part of my life, and I think it should be discussed. Lockhart encourages us to keep going with self-acceptance. Lockhart admits to having gone through phases where she was uncomfortable wearing certain clothing styles which exposed her arms. She can wear whatever she wants, and she is proud to share photos of herself dressed in her favorite outfits. It's all a process is what I'm not certain that it will be an end of self-love. This is, however, common for anyone with doubts. I believe having friends around you who really understand you and can see your heart is really important because they'll be the people that remind you of what are you worried about?
