Allison Brooks Janney is an American actress from America. She is well-known for her work on the stage and screen. Additionally, she's been nominated for two Tony Awards and has won an Academy Award, a British Academy Film Award as well as an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and seven Primetime Emmy Awards. Allison Janney, who spent nearly 20 years performing in theatres across the country, was known for her role as White House Press Secretary C.J. Gregg C.J. Gregg in The West Wing (1999-2006) a popular and acclaimed TV drama. Allison Janney is a natural late bloomer. The actress didn't obtain her driver's licence until she was 17 years old, which was a few years longer than the majority of her peers from Ohio. The first time she met a man was until after she started at university. Her audition started at the age of 23, but she didn't get her screen debut until mid-30s, despite having been a regular since then. Faris is extremely selective about the roles she takes on following her departure from Mom in the year 2000. One exception being 2022's The Estate. Faris has revealed to PEOPLE she did not make this choice consciously. Anna Faris had left CBS's beloved sitcom Mom prior to the final eighth season. Faris said she quit the show to pursue new opportunities. However, now Faris admits that this was not a conscious decision. Janney is a regular on the show and has been a wig-wearer. Fallon stated, "Everyone knows now that I've been sporting a hairpiece since the first season, but no one knew about the fact that I was wearing it." Janney is taking the wig she wore in order to celebrate the event. According to the reports, she made up at least $125,000 for each of the first seasons. Faris made an estimated $200 per episode in season three and four.
