Jenna Fischer's best-known role was in the role of Pam Beesly from the popular TV show The Office. To honor the significance of her work, she was awarded an Emmy award for Best Actress in the Supporting Role. In addition, she won two SAG Awards.
The girl was born in Fort Wayne Indiana, she lived her entire childhood living in St. Louis Missouri. Jenna was attracted by her mother's church performances at the time she started her journey.
After finishing The Office, Fischer, a theater-trained actress returned to her home base. The role she played was Josh Hamilton in Neil LaBute's Off-Broadway play Reasons to Be Happy. At the Old Globe Theatre's premiere, she starred alongside Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg in Steve Martin's absurdist comedy Meteor Shower.
The Office co-star Angela Kinsey and Fischer have launched Office Ladies, a podcast that airs on Earwolf on October 19, 2019. The podcast has been an enormous success, making its Top Ten worldwide every week with more than 200 million downloads in its initial two years. Office Ladies received the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Year Award in January 2021.
She is the writer of The Actor's Life An Actor's Survival Guide (coauthored by Angela Kinsey) In it, her story of moving from St. Louis to Hollywood as a professional actress is detailed.
